1. Who controls your data

Velora Cosmetics F.Z.E, Velora Cosmetics F.Z.E, B.C. 1307776, Ajman Free Zone C1 Building, Ajman Free Zone, Ajman, United Arab Emirates, is the controller of the personal data collected through this website.

For any privacy question or request, contact velora.cosmetics@outlook.com.

2. What we collect

When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and billing address, along with the details of what you ordered.

When you pay: your payment is handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of the payment and limited details such as the card type and last four digits. We never receive or store your full card number or security code.

When you join our email list: your email address, and the tags that tell us which list you joined.

When you contact us: your name, email address, and anything else you choose to include, such as a phone number or order number.

When you browse: standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you viewed and the site you arrived from.

3. Why we use it

• To take payment for, fulfil and deliver your order.

• To send you order confirmations, shipping updates and service messages.

• To answer your questions and provide customer support.

• To send marketing emails, where you have asked us to.

• To detect and prevent fraud, and to keep the site secure.

• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations in the UAE.

4. Our legal basis

We process your data to perform the contract you enter into when you order; where we have your consent, such as for marketing emails and non-essential cookies; where we have a legitimate interest, such as preventing fraud and improving the site; and where the law requires it, such as retaining tax records.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data.

We share it only with the service providers we need to run the business: our e-commerce platform, our payment provider, our delivery partners, and our email provider. Each processes your data on our instructions.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.

Some of these providers operate outside the UAE. Where data is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains appropriately protected.

6. Cookies

Essential cookies keep the site working — remembering your cart and your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off.

Non-essential cookies help us understand how the site is used. You can refuse these using the cookie banner shown on your first visit, and the site will continue to work normally.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may then not work as intended.

7. How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for as long as UAE tax and accounting law requires, currently five years from the end of the relevant financial period.

Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Support correspondence is kept for up to two years so we have context if you contact us again.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it where we are not required to keep it, or stop using it for marketing.

To unsubscribe from marketing, use the link at the bottom of any marketing email, or email us.

To make any other request, email velora.cosmetics@outlook.com. We respond within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity first.

9. Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and payment pages are encrypted in transit. We limit access to personal data to the people who need it to do their job.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

10. Children

This site is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated by email where we hold your address.
